Dallas Area Rapid Transit

DART, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, anticipates spending $61 million of its expected ARRA moneys to fund a portion of the design and construction of the first two sections of the light rail Orange Line to Irving. DART's website includes the March 24, 2009 Board Chair Report, which outlines the proposed stimulus projects.

Also included on the website is DART's official April 4, 2009 Response to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Request for Certification, Transparency and Accountability Information under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority website includes a press release about the anticipated April groundbreaking on one of Ohio's first significant projects to benefit from ARRA funds, a new $9.6 million rail station.  The website also includes a list of ARRA projects.

On February 18, 2009 WMATA issued a press release about its $230 million list of projects presented to the The National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board for inclusion in the region's six-year transportation improvement program.
